A male suspect ripped the pursue from a female pedestrian in Hermosa Beach. The victim and her friends chased the suspect down to the Strand and were able to recover the purse and other belongings.
I spotted the commotion and followed the suspect but he got away.
The two people in the red car (male and female) are believed to have been involved and were possibly the get away car.

"You stole a purse?" asks the cop. Either felons run to cops to confess their crimes all the time or cops are trained to make up reasons to arrest anyone with least amount of effort possible. This is so that Judges, Jails, Lawyers, etc. all get paid. Arresting the guy in front of me is the quickest way to feed the legal system.

Wow, the pigs are completely useless as usual. Demanding ID from witness, assuming everyone is guilty. However, if one of them scrape their knee while riding their motorcycle like an asshole, there are helicopters, 50 cops, road closures.

Hey Katman, I'm conflicted about getting the police involved in this. It was already clear the victim got her stuff back earlier on. It also didn't sound like either of the suspects committed (overly) physical violence. The suspect you caught up with also didn't display any aggression towards you. Obviously a criminal act like this deserves some form of punishment, compensation preferably, but I just don't think getting the police involved will lead to actual justice. Have you given this any thought yourself?

Did anyone notice that the female cop automatically assumed that the purse thief was black? When she asked the victim and the men who got her purse back for details, she automatically said "black male,. WOW!!!!
"Can I see your ID?" It surprising that she didn't try to handcuff you. For her safety of course. The pigs don't care who you are. Suspect, witness, victim, to them they are all the same. A threat to their safety.
