6. Never been in this situation, but i do understand people not thinking your child is yours, because they don't look like you.
   My son looks exactly like me, dark hair, dark eyes.. however my daughter looks nothing like me, blonde hair blue eyes. We were at the doctor's once in the waiting room, and my daughter was by me, there was a blonde sitting a few feet away, not close. This lady was taking to my daughter, then looked at the blonde and asked how old she was. The lady looked confused and said "what!?" The lady asked again, and as the blonde is saying "that's not my kid." I respond "she is 4." She's like "awe who's kid is she!? Are you babysitting!?" I said "no, i birthed her. She is mine." She looked at me like a deer in headlights!!

12. So weird. It’s also weird when they are like 5-12and have a different last name and they will ask them a bunch of questions at security. It’s a little scary when you have a shy child and then they think you are coaching your child. Argh. I would get a passport for your kid and take it with you

13. Maybe they could do IDs at the airport for kids that fly alot with their parents. Bring the birth certificate in and have them snap a pic so it never happens again. Maybe this is what it took to get the ball rolling ? She has alot of followers so maybe she will make a change ❤

18. There’s this thing called delayed reaction- she may have acted one way with police and outraged afterwards- totally normal. We re human, we’re complex, it happens. Give the lady a damn break.

19. …. very frequently flying with even just one child, even if it’s the same name every time for a child, it would rightfully put you on the radar. It’s not personal it’s just unusual for children to be flown around a bunch of times. I think her tone is just miss leading and she is a little over dramatic but she’s asking for better ways of identifying children for travel which could save other parents grief and save tons of children being trafficked 🤷🏼‍♀️

21. My husband took my son to a local elementary school to ride his electric scooter. There’s always police patrolling the neighborhood, especially around school zones. A cop stopped and kept looking at my son and his father. I’m sure the cop didn’t think my son was with his dad; they look nothing alike. After the cop saw my son hug and call his dad “daddy”, the cop waived and drove away. Never once did my husband feel insulted. He actually commended the cop for looking out. Lady, get a grip. You sound silly as you yourself know and acknowledged that our children are in fact being trafficked. These cops don’t know you from Adam.

23. My legit concern would now be, that this is a new way to steal child(ren), from their parent(s), to then traffick the child(ren).

    Get their child(ren) taken away & child(ren) then disappears.. trust noone.

27. This lady really thinks shes doing something? Wtf wouldnt you travel without some kind of ID for your kid? My daughter had an ID at 2 years for this reason. She needs to get over herself, clearly she needs attention. 😂 and she wants to be an "advocate" for what?? Oh brother please someone tell me they set her dramatic self straight in the comments. The cops literally said and did nothing of what she said. 😂 either she is a horrible narrator and can't be trusted to tell a atory the rightway or she's making a bigger deal than what it was for views and attention. The cops were nice and polite and gave her no flack. She's dramatic. When she's with the cops, she praises them for checking when kids do get trafficke, but then to her follower, she makes out like they were harrassing her and didn't believe her. I wouldn't trust a thing she says.

34. I’d be super duper offended especially if I know that’s my child, but then I wouldn’t trip about it knowing I wasn’t doing anything wrong. But yes I would be upset. Not every child looks like the mother etc. but damn that’s insane. I would be so shocked & appalled. I wish them the best. & I hope cops find actual traffickers tho 🙏
