  1. I can’t help thinking that his parents coming to the school that day and seeing his drawings, and hearing what the counselor had to say, and already knowing he was in distress BUT still being “too busy” to help him then and there was the final straw for this kid. It was like they absolutely couldn’t be bothered with any of it. 😢

  2. This is wrong the mom and dad going to jail for something their kid did wtf michigan like I said before the public wants someone to pay because a kid start shooting well that is life for you

  3. Why was the first part of what the second guy had to say cut out? What incompetence from the school are they hiding? And why does everyone interject when the defense attorney starts asking about a possible gun in the backpack? Why didn't the counselors ask the kid if he had a gun? Why didn't they check the backpack? For days, teachers have been emailing their concerns to the counselors about the kid and pictures/videos of guns? The school should be sued into oblivion for the deaths of these 4 people, and the two people on the stand in this video should be imprisoned for their incompetence.

  4. I’m in the uk so not clued up with us gun laws, how is the dad up if the son was trailed as an adult ? I remember visiting my aunt in the states and she showed me her gun 😮 that’s the only gun I’ve ever seen/come into contact with ,

  5. The Crumbleys KNEW Ethan was a problem.

Picture the moment after the school sends out that active emergency alert. EVERY parent is immediately on their way to the school….except the Crumbleys. You know where James Crumbley headed? Home. To check on the gun.

They knew. But they were busy with their own lives, & they'd spent a lifetime ignoring Ethan anyway. Neglectful parents mostly get away with it. The issue for the Crumbleys is that the teenage boy they were ignoring was a sociopath.

  6. It just occurred to me today that they didn’t use the cable lock or safety features or hiding things very well because they knew their son was proficient at firearms (more so than them) and would never accidentally discharge a firearm. They never imagined he would shoot up the school… but they should have. That’s what they’re guilty of. Who else would be responsible for their teenagers actions but the parents. At the sacrifice of the victims: Lesson learned. 😢 The school also has a responsibility here. Js

  7. Its time that the courts start holding parents responsible for their children. I knew the day I had my first child that I was responsible for them and what they did till they were 18. Now days parents are held responsible for NOTHING their children do. Some people deserve kids and some dont. These parents, thank God only had one. They knew how much he needed help, they just didnt care. Mom wanted her horses and another man, Dad just wanted to go to his job to get away from everything. I hope they find him as guilty as they found his wife and WHY does he use headphones?

  8. Who would have thought giving a troubled young man a gun, help train the boy to use the gun, ignore signs of a violent person and teacher reports of his troubling thoughts and behavior, would ever hurt anyone?
Most shooters cases don’t have a dad who trained him in shooting and had a mom who told him “not to get caught” while looking up the types of bullets he wanted during class.
WHO THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO BUY A GUN FOR A KNOWINGLY DEPRESSED KID.
His parents gave him the bullets and the gun which would be much harder to obtain as a 15 year old if he just tried to get them with out because of the legal age to buy a 22.
Hopefully this case will stop parents from buying guns for their kids thus keeping kids from killing there peers with legally obtained guns

  9. Mom said they were so cash strapped that there was not enough money to put her son, the murderer, on her health plan. Yet money for targets, boxes of ammo, multiple guns, visits to a shooting range. That’s just Jennifer putting her priorities in order.

  10. Care, people. Just frickin CARE. This young man needed help. Adults shrugged it off or rationalized it. Yes the parents are most responsible for their kid. But there is negligence on the school’s part too. I hope that will be addressed

  11. If this school was that concerned then, it's even more awful they didn't seclude him until the end of the day!
I think it's shameful for this school to act as if they did everything they could & it was all the Crumbley's fault especially, when the school had knowledge about EC prior gun drawings, when his parents didn't.

  12. clearly prosecutors been watching the Rust trial with suddenly including “ this gun has been made safe” “how do we ensure the gun is handled properly to ensure it’s safe”

  13. The father should be punished as well just like the mother and the shooter were. The parents are just as guilty as the shooter. Remember the scenario of the bank robber and the person driving the getaway car? In that case both are guilty of robbing the bank. And if the robber shoots and kills, the driver is also guilty of homicide. So, I have no pity for the Crumbley family. Only sorrow and sadness for the victims.😢

  14. It's amazing how everybody's so trusting around him with the loaded gun at the gun range…Can't believe it. Shocking. The nutbag could have pulled the gun on anybody there, including his mother……geeeezeeee, just crazy.
