  1. 13:24 Pam was my sister, Helen my niece. The story is more tragic, more devastating than anyone knows. Jackie Wilcox – please tell Carlos that he is in my thoughts often. My heart hurts for him. I’m so grateful that he loved Helen so much.

  2. I’m from uk and here people are afraid to even walk around in dark it’s terrible we all need to keep looking over our shoulders .going to work or comming home from work or going shopping .i refuse to go out at night tbh unless I have a lift or taxi

  3. That’s true it’s always leave it 24 hrs then contact is again and I think isn’t the first 24 hours vital .if somone is reported missing it should be taken serous as most is ended up in death of people .if some be says they haven’t turned up to work and can’t get hold of them it’s very worrying and should be taken seriously specially if it’s clos people calling

  4. Jealousy really is a bad thing to have it makes people do the most despicable things .a lot of jealousy plays part in most people’s life being taken a lot and I just can’t work out how you can let this get you to the point that you take you own mother and sister life just horrible 😢

  5. Okay, I think this guy might be giving criminals just a little bit too much credit. Nine times out of ten they don't think they just react, and make up the lie as they go.

  6. I live in Lyon County, NV and listened to the discussion about the murder victim in Fernley. Yes the Sheriff and deputies could and should have done better but I wanted to give you context about the area. Churchill county where she was found is not 70 miles south. It is about a 10 minute difference driving from Fernley. This is a huge county and deputies cover an enormous territory and there may only be two deputies assigned at a time in each area. Fernley is a pocket community of Reno and has a major highway connecting the two. At her age it is often the case that kids simply disappear for days, even those that don't make a habit out of it. Also, it should be noted that the Sheriff has changed every election for the last three elections and this has impacted dispatch, deputies and the communities they protect. Sadly, an 18 year old disappearing is not a high priority in a rural county. Again, not an excuse, simply context. This is not an urban area and the communities have an hour between them to each small city. I am terribly sad for the victim and family and friends and wish things had turned out differently in many aspects. Things with the Sheriff department have changed and continue to improve since our last election. I believe this case has changed how they prioritize many crimes and investigations. Our men and women that work at the department are good people and engaged in the communities that they protect. This was a failure in many ways but also 20/20 hindsight is a factor in this discussion. These deputies and dispatchers are amazing people but also human and have to work within crazy policies and finances. A terrible tragedy but I think we should remember that the lives they have protected far out way their mistakes.

  7. Besides helping with homework; your channel was one of the first I ever watched in the "true crime" category. I had went to Rutgers years ago for forensic science, and dropped out and got married and had a kid. 16 years later now, after listening you for a little while now, you've sparked my interest again in crime! I just re-enrolled in criminal justice classes! Love the channel and all you do Ana! 🤗🤗💗💗🙏🏼🙏🏼 (p.s. – i know I'm a little late on this episode lol)

  8. He’s so right. If the (murderous) older sister would have focused her energy on mending the relationship with her mother and committing herself to growing her own success and self sufficiency…instead of focusing on avoiding murder charges…maybe she could have a much better life and happiness. Now, she has only time and freedom being taken away as consequences for the heinous acts she committed. All because she felt betrayed by her mother for refusing to enable her self destructive behavior? Disgusting

  9. You know neither of you mentioned that meghans little girl is never going to have her grandma or her aunt in her life and she’s also lost her mum . The trauma of that little girl all because of her mothers jealousy so sad for her
