23. Alec Baldwin has always been a narcissist, and feels no personal responsibility in this situation. Only a sociopath could admit that he feels no guilt. Let's face it, the only reason this happened is because he did not practice proper gun handling safety protocols on set. Alec has been highly anti-gun for years, and he obviously either did not have the proper handling training, or did not exercise it. Even George Clooney said every time he's handed a gun on set, he opens it, checks that it is cleared, and even shows it to his fellow actor before starting a scene, shooting, or handing back to the armorer. Live ammunition looks different from blanks, had Baldwin done this he would have seen that it was loaded with the incorrect ammunition. While they are making a big deal over who loaded the gun, and rightfully so because live ammo should not be on the set, Alec is at sole fault for mishandling that firearm. Any other take is a cop out of personal responsibility. Apparently he is also at fault for rushing production, rushing staff, and removing her backup on set.
