13. I cannot understand this in front child much less what they hear in many homes. I never heard my parents yelling or fighting. My children never heard or saw as well. We were a normal young couple with normal problems and normal young couple frustration. I don’t understand screaming and a getting physical in front children. Children have enough their own issues coming of age. Horrific thing these children lived and millions perhaps everyday their lives as well their own physical abuse. 14. I think when there’s an argument and one of the two “can’t do it anymore,” means they’re leaving/walking out/divorcing/separating from the other. Not harming themselves. That is a different situation. In my opinion, the person may already have the gun in hand and the discussion is about threatening themselves and THEN there’s an argument and a back and forth of trying to reason with the person to not use the weapon.

17. I’m an ex-volunteer fireman of South Jersey and you do not understand how close you get when you’re a fireman when you have to put trust and your fellow firefighters at your fire house, so yeah you to grow very close

19. Sometimes they tell kids they're too young to testify. That's what they told my older sister when she reported our biological father of abuse. She was 5 when she reported it and it was part of the reason we got adopted but he never got in real trouble for it. They said she was too young to testify.

20. I really do not want to victim blame and this poor woman does not deserve what was done to her infront of her babies. But Jesus Christ, their dad died only a year ago and then this psycho (apparently also pedophile) gets moved in. Like I'm sure she did not know about his previous offenses but hopefully he did not do anything to those kids (besides scar them for life by killing their mother in front of them). I personally feel like if i ended up a single mom no one will be brought near my child until I do full background check and watch this person for red flags under different situations for AWHILE. Also, with all the horrible shit ive heard staying single sounds better than risking my childs well being in any way. Im not saying there aren't amazing step parents but i just hear so many people (men and women) shacking up with some clearly effed up people at the expense of their children. We all need to put children first no matter what!!!
