  1. In my opinion if you decide to do drugs and then commit a crime like killing your child or loved one/anyone, you should be held accountable given life without parole and not be able to say you were mentally not there because of the drugs YOU chose to do.

  2. These people who claim that voices (or sponge Bob) tell them to kill don't realize that even if that did happen, you still don't have to do it. If anyone told me to kill someone, I would not obey them. FFS! What kind of excuse is that? So, as long as it wasn't my idea, and I just obeyed, that somehow makes me not responsible? It's such an absurd excuse.

  3. It blows my mind when people say how a parent has done the unthinkable when killing their child. It's not unthinkable anymore because this SHIIIIT is literally happening like every other day. It's sickening ASF and the U.S. needs to stop being so soft with these CRIMINAL'S and implement the death penalty. The U.S. claims to have the death penalty yet when someone actually gets the death penalty it always gets overturned and they end up with life. It's straight BS, especially nowadays when prison's are like staying at a 5 star hotel these days. They get three free meals, free medical and dental, medications, a roof over their heads, a place to lay their heads at night. They get to have visitors, see their friends and family, get commissary, free laptops and so much more. It's honestly a SLAP in the victims and their families face. Get it together AMERICA.

  4. The story of the little girl being killed happened about an hour away from where I live and when the local news released this story we were all in complete shock. The mother is in the iosco county jail. I actually used to live in Oscoda right down from where this happened and it's a small town and nothing like This ever happens there. We were all devastated to hear about the tragic death of this beautiful baby girl. The mother definitely had a very severe drug habit and I think that played a big role in the death of her daughter.

  5. I'm an identical twin and if only I was put in a lineup I'd be really angry because of course they know it was one of the twins but not which one, so placing only one twin in a lineup to be identified is a set-up. Even if they know a twin was not involved in the crime it's still wrong to lineup only one twin, esp when it's known they are identical. I realise this is a difficult case (quite normal ID confusion for the twins) but if Karl has been released due to innocence (insufficient reasonable doubt of guilt) then why would they re-try the case? I don't know how the US legal system works which doesn't help. What worries me is the increased difficulty to prove one's innocence as a twin, which singleton's do not have to contend with, due to the assumption that identical twins play identity games – there are those of us who have never done this. It's not easy being an identical twin, that's for sure.

  6. I don’t see how they are charge one vs the other sense they don’t know who done it bc when someone is convicted they are suppose to be convicted without reasonable doubt so I don’t see how they could convict either to be honest

  7. If he could have gotten 11 years, already did 20, and now someone else says they did it, let him out. No point not to. Time to move forward.

And no both brothers wouldn’t point at other, one is saying he is the one who did it and other would agree with that statement.

  8. Prosecutors don't like to admit they lost, even if it's clear the person is innocent. In this case is not about innocence but razonable doubt
    1. They are identical twins.
    2. One is saying he did it, he is a criminal.
    3. It was late and we only have eye witnesses.
    4. One of the witnesses recant.
    5. The supposedly culpable brother rejected the plea deal, insisting he was innocent.
    6. It's easy to say: he is confessing to help the brother, but it's equally easy to say that he did not confess to try to avoid life
If all of this is not razonable doubt what is it?

  9. This is why drugs are like witchcraft. Not saying that this is a sacrifice.. however, the mind is at it darkest point under the influence and consequently result in such outcomes. Sooooooo heartbreaking to imagine that little girl who should feel the safest in her mothers arms died a brutal death!!! I don’t know why anyone would even try it? It’s literally poison! Slow! But unfortunately, innocent people pay a heavy price that is felt by every family member!

  10. The fact that the brother got 100 years before before admitting to it makes me not believe it. It's a shame because if we were dealing with something simple like a robbery it would be no big deal 2 say just let him go in case he is innocent.

  11. There was a case in, I believe Utah, where the dad plunged a butcher knife into his infant son. "God" told him to do it. If one hallucinates "God's" commands, why not Sponge Bob? Religious folks hear "God," secular folks hear cartoon characters?
