Rod Ferrell’s ’Vampire Murders’ Florida case – Everything Law and Order Blog

From 2016: Rod Ferrell is the bloodthirsty villain at the center of a case that lives in criminal infamy as the “Vampire Murders.” The once-self-proclaimed vampire and three of his so-called disciples — Charity Keesee, Scott Anderson and Dana Cooper — set off from Murray, Kentucky, heading for Daytona Beach, Florida. Heather Wendorf, 15, who lived in the nearby town of Eustis, Florida, was planning to run away with Rod to join his vampire cult. UPDATES: https://bit.ly/3CAJAp2

UPDATE: In 2020, a Florida judge determined Rod Ferrell is “irreparably corrupt,” and declined to shorten the life sentence Ferrell is serving.

  1. It’s obvious, but I’ll say it anyway, there is something deeply wrong with his mother. Say nothing wrong with him drinking blood actually joined in. Yes, she didn’t kill anyone but it’s disturbing she is out and about and gives interviews discussing her son and her behavior and that nothing wrong with it. Very disturbing.

  2. If anyone hasn't yet, look up his original confession online. It wasn't recorded, so you have to read it, but it's fascinating in how he communicates with the officers. "It was pretty obvious when the mom came out, I'm holding a crowbar covered in blood, I was fixin' to say "Yeah I wanna have coffee with you", son of a bitchin' smart-ass…but she threw it at me so I beat her brains in."

  3. Why would she send him back to her house, instead of going back herself (which would make the most sense in every way), if she knew that he wanted to kill her parents – enough so that she “directly warned him to stay away” from them???

    She’s SO FULL of $HiT.
And all of them were probably in love with her and covered for her.

  5. I can't believe a little brat asks someone to get rid of her abusive parents 😔 lied straight faced and the police let her go with NO consequence 😤 That's disgusting and here a guy that was doing a so called favor almost gets the Death Penalty not saying it was an awesome choice 🙄 but let's face reality ppl drugs do Messed up things especially to a teenage brain 🙄 duh Facts I'm sorry I hope He gets a second chance. If he's really reformed really wants to do the right thing why Not alot worse ppl are still walking our streets today and they're Not remorseful they won't even admit they've ever done wrong. But what do I know…rant over!!
