  1. is it just me who found the roomate's actions weird? like why wouldn't you get in the car with your roommate who was later promoted to your best friend? why would you let her get into a car with a random guy or guy(s) and think that's okay? you wouldn't feel inclined to go take care of your drunken friend and ensure she's okay? and even the phone call…you hear her say she doesn't know who's in the dorm with her and that she's scared and you don't immediately rush back or call authorities?

  2. Annie, to be a little pedantic, Lucas was not found innocent. He was found not guilty. That means the jury did not feel the case was proved beyond reasonable doubt. As someone who has served on two juries including one death penalty federal capital murder case, the language is important. As a result, I don't feel I have enough detail without hearing and seeing all the evidence what I think. If I was forced to give an opinion, I feel he is probably guilty.

  3. Imo Lucas seems absolutely innocent Steven lied multiple times and admitted to everything along with matching dna… Soo what more does the family want they found the guilty party thats it case closed!!

  4. I like how she said a fight with her boyfriend, when in reality she assaulted her boyfriend amd was abusive to him.. also why wouldn't her roommate call someone to check in on her after that weird call? Especially with her saying leave me alone thats an L friend its partially her roommates fault in my eyes!

  5. I live in the town where this happened. It was such an awful time for our community. Katie deserved so much more out of life. Still think about her and her family from time to time. I also work with one of the former detectives, and I believe the actual killer got away with murder.

  6. I’ve always been fearful/super aware at frat parties. I usually stay away but when I am at one I’m looking at everyone. I remember this Nerd frat that said no alcohol and tried to take my drink but didn’t notice that a guy & his friend was trying to grind up on a girl without her consent or even without talking to her. Priorities are messed up

  7. Wild how people are criticizing Annie who is doing great work for how her script was written. How we speak has changed. I like that she doesn’t sound like a robot. It sounds like she’s telling me a story around the fire and I LOVE HER!

  8. No DNA..a time-stamped receipt…and an alibi from his father….not to mention he told the cops to go ahead and do what they needed to do…he said that because he knew he wasn't there. DUH! Lucas is not guilty. Also…I could pick anyone from the comments section and make them look like a bad person. I'd start by asking all your exes about you…then hit up all your enemies or people you've argued with. I would give only their side of the "story" and TADAAA…you look like a POS.

  9. Unsolved murder of Wisconsin female in 2007. Her name was Kelly Nolan. She was abducted, [can't say in YT comments], and then murdered. Her body was dumped in some woods off of a highway. Her case remains unsolved to this very day. Please, help breathe new life into her unsolved case.
