  1. Went to and all of elementary and middle school with her. She was definitely already on the road to something dark, she was always very odd and dark.

  2. Are they really sure that video games are the problem? I think theres other things at work here like psychological problems possibly drugs
Alot of kids play video games but they dont entice all kids to commit violent crimes i work for the schools theres alot of kids who play video games but some of kids actually are nice respectful kids who do well in school you always have your behavioral issues in school but there all caused by video games music graphic novels or other outside influences

  3. Absolutely ridiculous to still be blaming video games after so long. We’re surrounded by violence that takes place around us ALL THE TIME. Shootings, wars, genocides. We don’t need video games to be desensitized to violence.

  4. This guy lost me at his ignorant and ridiculous "Video Game Generation" comment. 🙄OK, grandpa. Let's get you to bed now!

  5. It always baffles me when they go all out of the way come up with excuses to justify what these people did, let's call it what it is,she's a dangerous psychopath

  6. Law & Crime expert claims violent crime is rare in Alaska. Not true: "Alaska's violent crime rate remains far above the national average. Alaska's rate of violent crimes by population is 758.9, while the U.S. rate is 380.7, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's crime data explorer."

  7. We see so many of these types of cases. I'd like to see what happens in 10 to 20 years time. I am pretty sure these monsters will get out and get off. Some lawyers will argue that social media and how new it all was means that these kids aren't responsible, or at least less responsible. Lets see how it plays out.

  8. LOL this dude can't be serious with the "videogames desensitize you enough to murder someone". While I agree that perhaps videogames slightly desensitize you to seeing violent acts, I've yet to see anything compelling to indicate that videogames desensitize you from engaging in violent. Were these kids even gamers? Sounds like they were all maybe intellectually challenged or delayed in someway and that, probably paired with poverty and mental health issues, allowed this to happen.

  9. Not true at all. The research shows no link whatsoever. Make sure you're only vetting from respected journals that publish fully peer reviewed research experiments and conclusions. Inconclusive 😂😂😂

  10. Fastest way to lose all credibility in my eyes if to blame video games despite the plentifully available mass of peer-reviewed resesrch from experiments that's as easy to verify as a quick Google search that shows that the data completely DISPROVED the link between violence and video games 25 years ago and continues to till this day.

  11. I can't believe that in 2024 people are still blaming VIDEO GAMES. What an ignorant fbi agent. His narrative about the "video game generation" is so incorrect and harmful to those who need help from law enforcement.

  12. Now it's video games. But back then it was television. And before that, radio. And before that, adventure books. Ya'll don't know the history, nor the science.

Edit: Forgot to mention how Dungeons and Dragons was also blamed for crimes.

  13. “Not a lot of violent crime in Alaska”…..??

Their violent crime rate is DOUBLE the national average lol…maybe he meant…”Not a lot of people in Alaska”…..?

If not, I question the sincerity of anything he says following that opening remark.

  14. Whenever I hear the lazy argument that Video Games MAKE people violent I cannot help but ponder questions such as, I wonder which console Benjamin Netanyahu, the current Prime Minister of Israel, has Xbox or PS5? And, I wonder if he plays Call of Duty or Grand Theft Auto?

  15. The video game generation?! Sir that's grown adults with families. These kids are a bit different also there's pretty much nor correlation to your typical of age video games or horror movies to violent crimes. Often there's inherently stuff already wrong with them that will be likely bread crumbs that they would do something like this if given a chance on their own accord doesn't gave to be because of games movie or TV. Most of them biggest serial killers and such had major tip offs way before than there's that one that passes as perfectly normal. Though lets not stereotype people…and adults you know pop in one your kid check what they are doing likely actively talk about things openly dont act like a jailer.

  16. I really wouldn't just accredit this act to video games alone, but also a desensitization through SO MANY true crime series, also. There are endless amounts of movies and documentaries and series that air, some people watch these day in and out and I can't imagine the impact on one's mind. Not to mention the amount of messing with vulnerable children's minds in schools, which ultimately must leave a heavy sense of mental health issues. We are living in sketchy times. It's important to note so many factors, no doubt that add to this. Scary.
