In my opinion, If he “jumped into the water”, they would’ve found evidence of his bike around the bridge, blood on the bridge & a body

They found his remains in 2023 in the investigation is still ongoing
Texas Police have done a fine job on this case. All the evidence at the home suggests michael himself staged the scene. The cell phone forensics point to mile cycling to where his body would later be found. The reason for the suice is not being speculated on too bluntly by police. Probably to protect mikes reputation. Detectives suspect he could have been paranoid about something in his past. Or that someone was attempting to nlackmail him for for something in his past. Either way the police have done a fine job. And shown Michael every consideration for his reputation in the community.
Someone might have peddled away but it probably wasn’t 70 year old pawpaw. They could have turned the phone off at that time or dropped it in. Someone could have followed him from Walmart
I started watching this on the news from day one. I said it then and I’ll say again she (the wife) had something to do with this. Poor guy.
Strange she sent him for mascara only for him to come home and get killed. Then the whole story that he took a bike and jumped off of a bridge was suspicious. I hope they are still investigating this case and find who did it.
The blood spatter shows that his head was down like someone was carrying him on his shoulder with Michael head down bleeding on floor. He was hit first by the bloody stick found in the carriage. I think his wife wanted him to go to the mall to have someone get in the garage waiting for Michele to come and then attack him. I guess its her boy friend.

It sounds to me they probably threw his phone in the water and then took him somewhere else

I followed this case from the moment it happened. His family created a Facebook group and lots of people were concerned. I hope Mike is found safe or not, so he can rest at ease.

Perpetrators could have given a homeless guy the bike providing that he has to throw the phone away…
My theory: Michael was attacked but the attacker underestimated how strong he would be, so he took off in a car. He probably took his cellphone with him so Michael couldn't phone for help. Michael who was wounded, got on the bike and followed the attacker (probably running off of adrenaline) The attacker realizing he still had the phone, threw it off the bridge while still being followed. Michael kept following him until he probably physically couldn't anymore and died from bleeding out. I know my theory is probably flawed but it's the best I got so far 🤷🏾♀😂
He wasn’t with the phone obviously. The killer took his body to the culvert area where the dogs lost his scent then the killer rode a bike to the bridge where he threw the phone over the bridge. That’s why no one saw anything at the bridge.
Could have been a electric pedal assist bike which would make it extremely easy to go 17 miles
I've lived in quinlan Texas and let me tell you that drugs are heavily used and sold . It's such a rotten town . I truly believe a family member was involved .

Skeletal remains were just found on Wednesday in a wooded area a couple of miles down the road from the 2 mile bridge. There's a good chance that it is Mr. Chambers.
If the remains that were recently discovered in an undisclosed area nowhere near the area they claimed he took his life end up being him, let's see how the detectives and sheriff explain this one.
a man in quinlan searching his land and might have just found his remains he posted it onto facebook yesterday. “My trip to the woods today turned into the unexpected. I had recently found an area that I previously thought was inaccessible due to swampy conditions making access almost impossible. However a couple of days ago I found a way in by crossing a small channel and then finding myself unexpectedly on high ground. Today I returned to explore the area more and to look for secondary old growth timber. I found some very large trees along an old barely discernable fence line and began to follow it westward. As I approached a swamp area flooded with water I noticed an old looking mountain bike partially hidden under the remains of a fallen and rotted tree. Shortly after finding the bike I found what appeared to be a human pelvis bone. I began finding more bones including what looked like a femur and possibly a shin bone. As I continued to circle and search the area I walked further out and then I saw it, a human skull. From there it turned into numerous phone calls to the Sabine River Authority and both the Rains county and Hunt county sherrifs office. Its looking very likely that this may be the remains of a retired firefighter missing from Quinlan five years ago. They last tracked his cell phone across the two mile bridge headed east at 3 mph and believe he was on a bike. Update: I have never had a post go viral—due to the sensitivity of this subject I have removed any photos of the remains on this post…”
UPDATE 5/5/24:
The remains found on 11/30/22 have been positively identified as Michael Chambers.
Just an update for anyone still caring about this case. Yesterday, 11/30/22, human remains and a bicycle were found not too far from his home. It will take some time to identify the remains but a lot of people believe it is Mr. Chambers. The community is hoping for answers to come quickly so hopefully the family can begin to move on.
I went to the same church as Mike.
Him & his wife, Becca were in our Sunday school class.
I believe she had something to do with it.
So sad for his family.

I believe the wolf, pardon me the "wife" is responsible for his disappearance and needs to be tossed off a much higher bridge herself.
i think he found out about his wife was cheating and he faked his death. He could be living in a homeless groupe and you could never find him. there are so many homeless people traveling around.. think about it.
