  1. she should never have been the judge in this case. she probably should never have been a judge. you can't allow your emotions to sway you one way or the other. i don't believe for one moment that she was going to retired after this trial. she knew she messed up and an admonishment was going to eventually come down that is why she retired. if she would have stayed on she would never preside over any major felony cases. she was toast and knew it now she writes a book. go figure.

  2. You people are absolutely delusional. This judge had EVERY right to reprimand the defense attorneys. They were EXTREMELY disrespectful and unprofessional. I mean for the chief defense attorney to say “No one in this courtroom has gone through what we have gone through” is absolutely disgusting. I don’t care about the “empty threats” that were allegedly made. These people’s children had their brains blown out!! Come on. And for them to stick the middle finger up at the court and laugh and joke with the defendant after he’s committed these serious crimes is outrageous. And not to mention the time where they tried to rest their case because she said they needed to move on to their witnesses. Extremely petty tactic to try to delay these proceedings. This judge is competent and she did nothing wrong. And if any of you want to question my knowledge of a courtroom behavior, please refer to my criminal justice degree. Thank you.

  3. To Former Judge Elizabeth Scheer:- I South Africa and Zimbabwe one has to apply with a recommendation to own a firearm. Tha application goes through the Equivalent of your D. A. for approval. Automatic weapons are Not allowed!!! You licence is endorsed each time ammunition is purchased it is endorsed. In Rhodesia you could purchase 50 rounds a year for a pistol. 300 rounds a year, no more than 50 each time. Is this not something that could be lobbied for in the United States? Will I get a reply to this?

  4. florida hone if the worst judges in America along with texas. let's not mention judge cannon who doesn't even knkw the law & is acting like part of donald trumps defense team. She'll be "retiring" soon as well. Also she only retired because she was going to be removed. Hugging the prosecutors is so unprofessional

  5. In her first Interview with CBS she seems more calm and Knowledges her Behavior was at time not the Best, On this particular interview is more like she is In the Right and The defense team in the wrong. She's kind of fake. I always thought she was a bit immature. I know it was a tough case and she tried her best but She let the emotions take over. A Judge needs to be partial and she wasn't. You need to leave your true feelings outside and she didn't! All that kissing and hugging I've never seen such thing in my life.

  6. I'd love to see the people speaking against the judge do her job. No matter what, she was protecting the integrity of this case and the impact on these victims and their families. Managing children is a skill, she clearly had to use.

  7. The judge was godsend to a case that was completely heinous.

The judicial board is in the same boat as the local authorities that failed the city of Parkland and MSD students. A bunch of dinwitted jackasses.

  8. How did she get to be a judge? Her daddy? She is so unprofessional and seems unintelligent. Its frightening she had people's lives in her hands. I felt bad for the attorneys. She acted nuts. She sure got dolled up for this interview. Strange.

  9. When are we going to stop supporting these monsters for the rest of their lives? Food, medical, clothing? Why must we as taxpayers pay for their life's to continue? Something is definitely wrong with our system! Jails will be stacked with teenage monsters

  10. I would like to have a debate, at some point, about LWOP vs the death penalty and which would deliver more suffering to such a heinous offender.
My intuition tells me the LWOP is the more severe punishment, especially when the offender is so young.
