It's horrible how common male violence against women is. Mary is correct. Stop making excuses for them. They are ending the family with their violence, you are not to blame.
I’m so very happy she survived. Much too often many others don’t. I hope she continues to share her story which may save others.
I was in an abusive relationship 30 years ago. The very last time my abuser hit me, I found the strength somehow to fist fight back to defend myself and actually kicked his ass. After that day, he finally left me alone for good. God must have gave me the courage and strength that day.
I’m a counselor what women NEED TO KNOW AND UNDERSTAND, the more kids you have the more stress and pressure men feel. Not all men feel this way
however, it’s a high number. Men think different than women do about kids. Not all men however, it can cause incredible stress on the family and less time to work on the marriage and spend time together. Children need all your attention and time to give them care and spend time to help them grow and mature. Think about how many children is right for your family and personality can you spend time and GIVE each child the time they need to grow, teach them and know they are loved. some men see all the mothers time is taken away with so many kids they can see they are not included with the time and care. That’s where the break begins.. time over time I’ve heard from men who have many kids say, by the time it comes to me she has no energy or she is tired. Just how the women can feel neglected if men work too much men can feel the same way if the mom is stretched too thin because of a large family. Be mindful we are only humans and some of us can mentally break more easily than others. 😊
I Do not not and will NEVER give anyone a pass for any type of abuse to an adult or children. It’s intolerable and leaves lasting scars.
