Members of an Iowa nonprofit organization are accusing two Des Moines police officers of racially profiling for a July traffic stop and the local activist group says its a symptom of a bigger problem in the department. Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement released dash camera and body camera video showing officers Kyle Thies and Natalie Heinemann pulling over Montray Little, 23, and Jared Clinton, 21, despite video showing no obvious traffic violations. Little and his passenger, Jared Clinton, are accused of having drugs in the car and acting like they have a weapon as well. Little is handcuffed and Clinton is taken out of the car while they and the vehicle are searched. No drugs or weapons were found. Police did find an open bottle of alcohol which they had the men dump out. According to records obtained by Iowa CCI, Officer Thies booked suspects on 282 charges into the Polk County Jail in 2017. All of them were African-Americans. The Des Moines Police Department is disputing those figures.

  1. And then listen to the end just before the camera actually stopped when the two cops got back in that car that son of a b** actually had the balls to say" I think I missed something" listen to him

  2. Now this is some racist stuff. Not like those other fake news crap. Dude behaved and officer made up some ish because of hot mic.

  3. Hopefully this officer lose the right to unemployment in positions of power – he abused his position and lied on his duty cam. Hopefully the department gets a reshuffle too.

  4. In America at least half the times an 'open bottle' found in a car actually is a bottle with the cap on of which part of the contents were already consumed. It may actually lay in the trunk and still be considered some kind of a problem anyway. They are just itching to find something 'wrong'!

  5. I love this comment section. It takes each incident case by case. I, for one, cannot believe how this officer acted, this was genuinely revolting, but in other cases I’ve seen, I appreciate another officer’s actions, so I’m glad that generalization isn’t common on this channel.

That being said, I’ll reiterate, the way this officer acted was genuinely revolting. This wasn’t just profiling, this was extortion. This was horrible to watch. I hope this officer was held accountable.

  6. Feel likevi was missing something. He's still suspicious. What an idiot cop. These guys in the car were genuine nice guys.

  7. Idk for sure but they likely were smoking because no one is the world smokes dutches and swishers full with tabacco, you use it as a rap for the weed, everyone knows that.

  8. Cop: admit you was smoking weed so I can be justified in pulling you over or Im giving you a ticket for ANYTHING I can think of. Smh. Hope they got fired.

  9. Wow! This racist ass cop was looking to shoot them, straight profiling smh. Didnt even tell him why he pulled them over when he walked to the car. These couldve went the wrong way if them black men was somebody else. He should never be a police again.

  10. This low life Cop lied just to have a reason to search the car.
The female Cop went alone with the Bull S.
Good things the Cop was suited and the courts ruled the Cop did not have probable cause.

  11. I just can’t see the need for cops duties in these situations.
Why ask the young man what’s up? Why are you you stopping them for ? Geese Louise .
