How tall is this officer, dude seems to tower over everyone, lmao, what a chad.
I also don't blame the parents, sometimes kids just, well, do unexpected things. When I was very little, I woke up before my mom, and went to look at the railroad crossing for trains that usually pass during that time. My mother ended up waking to a phonecall from the train conductor who stopped to make sure I stay safe until she arrived. Think the police also showed up lol. I remember the conductor being super nice and caring, even showing me around the cab of the engine.

i love those good samaritans!!! guy jumps right in to pull the baby out and the woman stands in below 40s in just a tank top without a second thought. i love people!

and those parents did nothing wrong! it’s a lesson learned. even when you’re just going to poop, make sure the doors and windows are locked when you have a flighty child!

Grateful to this police officers decision. We love good Police Officers. Understand the parents. Our boy disappeared in 2 min while Mum was making breakfast. Luckily a good samaritan picked him up. Didn't think that at 2 he would climb over the high fence, naked as a jaybird to explore.

Its a total miracle of God and ironicaly the unintended consequences of those two robbers doing that led to an officer looking for them and led to thw cop seeing the boy then goung and finding the boy in the water .but that dont mean you go out and rob some place

I wish people would quit talking about Autism. A kid went in the water, that happens to kids
This myth about autistic children being attracted to water is annoying.

Also my daughter is autistic. As soon as it was possible I took her to the YMCA to learn to swim. It is a major concern autistic parents since the baby doesn't string together action and danger. She is 33 years old now. Adult autistic and a very volatile one…but she swims like a fish! (also she's still the baby!) LOL!

What about the homeless people who helped, they were right there and helped

Hate to say it but who knows if the parents were being honest. There’s been a handful of incidents were people of thrown their special needs kids into lakes and claimed it was an accident. There was even a woman a couple of years ago were a woman would take her austic son to walk around a lake and purposely pushed him in three times trying to kill him but bystanders kept jumping in and saving him while she made a scene acting like she was upset.
