You get pain meds in the ambulance when you're shot, do you not? And they are given via IV which means they hit you almost immediately! Some pain meds can make you extremely drowsy and lethargic, so you would appear calm, but its actually just the meds! Not saying she didn't do it, just saying, facts are facts!
And also, marksmen or not, if you are in a state of rage, adrenaline high and you are not trained for duress shooting, it is possible that you can miss! Again, just saying!
Also, if I had been her defense attorney, I would have had her "confession" thrown out because she was in an altered state, under the influence of very strong medications! I have seen cases thrown out of court for this very same thing! I will say though, that the science is pretty sound! You can't argue with mathematical trajectory!

I don't think Greg was the wonderful person that they portray. And it seems Janel discovered that over time.
His daughter is pathetic as well. She was probably unpleasant to live with. It is not easy to live with a child with a bad attitude, let alone one who is not yours.
Plus his mother clearly disliked Janel from the beginning- probably jealous of the attention she was getting from Greg, so I can imagine what it was like for Janel being a part of this family.
Doesn't excuse her killing him though, if it wasn't self-defense.
