Jose Padilla, owner of the popular La Playita taco shop in the L.A. area, was shot multiple times in the chest while he was closing down the restaurant in 2014. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking information on three suspects in the murder.

What a beautiful man, I hope he is resting in peace and that the police find the 5 cowards that took this man from all who loved him, so they can be punished to the full extent of the law.
I remember hearing this guy was seriously connected in late 90s early 2000s from a few folks regardless-may he Rest In Peace!
Every time I hear a story like this. It gets me upset. With the technology we have today why is it that the CCTV it's always fuzzy. We have cameras to see in outer space but yet cameras for protection for the community is always grainy. That pisses me off. If all camera footage was made equal quality so many crimes would have been solved so much faster
Thank you for covering a case in a big city/less safe area. Sometimes it makes me sad when there's so much focus on small towns and people saying "omg things like this never happen here" type cases. People who are murdered in higher crime areas matter too, and most, like this man, are also innocent victims who did nothing wrong. RIP Mr. Padilla and I wish peace and healing for this family
