  1. When I was 15 years old, I went missing. If my family had not had a plan in such a case, the Jane Doe matching my description might not have been identified in time to prevent irreparable damage. As it is, my memory is sporadic and often inaccurate, but at least I have the ability to think, analyze, and sometimes remember things! I have a scar across my left knee, but I love that scar and what it represents; would I feel differently if that leg had been infected with gangrene? Thanks to NAMUS, more people and families in New Mexico have access to the information needed to make a quick ID. From someone who has experience with the possibilities, thank you!

  2. The USA has one of the most messed up legal systems in the world county laws state laws federal laws and elected officials in law enforcement and the judiciary which I find sear lunacy politics has no place in the legal system or law enforcement
