The prosecutor pursuing a murder conviction against Hannah Payne gave a fiery opening statement Wednesday that revealed chilling details from the altercation between her and the man she shot. Bonnie Smith outlined how Payne and Kenneth Herring had a tense argument after she witnessed him leave the scene of a hit-and-run crash. Payne followed Herring and ordered him to return to the scene, which he refused to do. Payne then allegedly fatally shot Herring as he sat in the driver’s seat of his car. Payne is being charged with malice murder, two counts of felony murder, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, and three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of the crime.

That defense attorney should be held in contempt of court for all the faces he was making towards the jury, like the prosecutor was lying or something. In a court case you are not to show and emotions towards the jury while an attorney is up giving their opening/closing, to potentially try and sway them. If you have a problem, make an objection.
