On June 18, 2024, officers were dispatched to Walgreens at Main and Highland in response to shoplifting incidents. Upon arrival, they were informed that Ayaioe Pickett, along with another black female and her children, had entered the store. While inside, Pickett and her accomplice filled two carts with items and left without paying. Employees noted that Pickett frequently brings her children along to assist in the thefts. They also mentioned that Pickett and her accomplice usually visit the store every Tuesday.

  1. We have fallen down bad as a community, our first response is jail for petty thefts. We used to have solutions, jail isn't always the solution. I'm not justifying theft, bring back community programs like food, bring back jobs, stop over policing for every issue.

  2. Not her kids in the background telling them to let her go.. Now they’re going to grow up hating cops and laws, thinking they should take all the blame. All because of the bullshit their parents are teaching them

  3. to single mothers out there know that there are tons of grants, state, and federal programs. Look at the LOCAL programs in your area . Even if its one there are local programs that offer supplies, medical care, food etc. You only get ONE record, keep it squeaky CLEAN.
