Bodycam: Drunk Woman Lies to Police About Drinking and Speeding 30 MPH Over, Cops Say – Everything Law and Order Blog

Back in July, 23-year-old Sierra Archibeque was going 70 in a 40 MPH zone when police began pursuing the vehicle where Archibeque pulled into a parking lot moments later. Authorities immediately noticed the smell of alcohol on her and asked if she knew what the speed limit was. When Archibeque was asked if she was drinking, she quickly denied having any alcohol. Since police were concerned about her possibly being impaired, Archibeque was offered to take a field sobriety test.

  1. 5:55 is a bit weird, is the officer confused about how his test works? Usually the officer explains how to read the test, not the suspect. “Blowing zeros” makes sense if you know, but if this is her first suspicion-of-DUI and she doesn’t spend her day watching this stuff?

Don’t get me wrong, awesome officer, nice and professional, exactly how this stuff should be done, but the “that’s not what I asked” just felt weird and out of place.

And before anyone gets all “If she didn’t have any then it would be zero”, quick, what should your blood sugar reading be if you’ve not consumed any sugar in 48 hours? Electrolytes? Sodium? Potassium? Beryllium? Magnesium?

  2. A phone in a holding cell??? This is why people aren’t scared of getting arrested anymore. It’s basically just like sitting at home with a bracelet that’s on too tight.

  3. To be honest, I have came up with a positive urine test for alcohol twice. I haven't drank since 2019. This was in 21. Strange things happen, especially to me, in my life. But yea, this chick is drunk like Mardi Gras.🎉 I have some beeds! Lmao. Jk

  4. I really try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I’m actually hoping they perform well and pass the test. I think I’ve seen 1 out of 10,000 to pass and not get a DWI.

  5. The cops where I live don't waste time like this; they just go straight to the breathalyser. You pass, you leave (perhaps with a ticket). You fail, you're under arrest, then they do a second test at the station to confirm it. The stop takes less than 5 minutes. I don't understand why American cops waste time with this subjective nonsense.

  6. I give her credit for not yelling and screaming at the officer, but I don't credit her lying to the officer that she denied that she was drinking and driving, hopefully she smartened up and learned her lesson and doesn't do this to herself again, she's lucky she didn't kill someone and threw her life away because it has happened to alot of drunk drivers.

  7. Young girls are target of american police. All aligations are self made. For the aligations the police himself is a judge. He wants to handkuff woman. Fake machine that shows much alkohal. She has told everything right. Still he wants to arrest woman

  8. Everyone should deserve a second chance. Instead of getting her arrested and mess up her life considering how she reacts and a little bit above legal limit , I believe first offense should be warning with towing her car.

  9. When the officer pressured her about blowing zeroes on the breath test, he was rude and expected her to know what blowing zeroes meant. He was giving her a hard time. Civilians don’t know that much about these things unless they’ve been arrested before.

  10. Greatest respect for the officers for asking whether she got elderly or children under her care…God bless to have such officers to be firm on wrongdoing…n show empathy on the weak…watching happily from Singapore

  11. There’s no line … wtf… and nobody that is overweight cud walk like that… time to retire these playground games😮
If you are yanked outta your car, don’t bother doing these ‘built to fail’ tests, just stop talking 🙊

  12. So the cuffs came off AND she got to use her phone to make as many calls as she wanted – and she didn’t even have to scream “I NEED MY PHONE, I NEED MY PHONE” or “TAKE THESE OFF NOW!!!” a thousand times…

  13. The longer a drunk driver is on the road, the more chance there is that they will have an accident – so we should commend these drivers for going double the speed limit so that they are only on the road for half the normal time!!! 🙄 😆
