Police in Victoria, Texas announced the discovery of human remains Tuesday, following a missing person report for 19-year-old Amanda Stevenson. The announcement comes after a person of interest in the case, rideshare driver Kevin Bennetsen, committed suicide rather than speak with police for a second time. Retired FBI agent Colin Schmitt weighs in on where the investigation goes from here with The Law&Crime Network’s Jesse Weber.

  1. Uber is not safe. A married man, a father of four, was murdered here in North Texas for his car. The killer was arrested and was using that car. How very sad for his family. 4 kids, fatherless. I hope the killer is convicted and gets the D P, d penalty.
This case needs the same…d p.

  2. Share rides are sketchy! I don’t even like cabs. We teach our children not to ride with strangers, then tell them it’s ok ?? 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

  3. I really wish with all my heart that all women were cautious or a lot more cautious and always CARRY SOMETHING TO DEFEND THEMSELVES! For me that would be the only way in which fewer women would be missing or dead.

🙏🙏🙏ALWAYS BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS AND TRUST NOBODY.

  4. If this dude who killed himself was not the killer, or was working with someone else, with all this information being made public, information that is not required to be made public, the real killier will now be able to know how to evade the authorities. smh. people who love to play TV detective and those who actually do the job but always looking for a means to gain self acclamation , just dont understand how to conduct proper investigations or place a hold on info untill the end or close of a case. sadly, people are dumber today than they were yesterday. social media vultures craving and seeking attention.
