No he told a lie it was about 11 and people did not leave they surrounded him took his money. And that is from the video footage. So he must be the fed's he spinning the narrative. And we done seen the footage and it's pretty clear. You said one thing first and then go back and add they got the phone. So if the person told everyone to leave how did someone get the phone? Did they run or nawl? A lot of lies and very little Truth

I really really hope that one day the United States as well as here in Canada put into place the video technology that London UK has. I feel forget stupid privacy issues because if you’re worried about it then you are not doing something right. I think there would be less crime rates and less unsolved crimes and murders. Just my opinion.
every single person who walked away and left him in the road, or simply walked by without pulling him out of the street, should be charged. if you avoid calling an ambulance and that person dies, thats negligence – thats manslaughter. like wtf? who tf does just leaves an unconscious man in the street??

I am in UK and when we started getting in cctv I thought arghghg😲😲😲😲😲 big brother but it has saved do many people from late night drunken thugs in city centres. Crimes like pickpockets get caught and procecuted. We even had a case of a car followed across country by motorway cameras so police could catch a murderer so now i am totally behind them. 😊 till the catch me doing summit naughty 😉
i just youtube search marques gaines death video and poor guy gets knocked out, lays on the ground, people rob him than basically left him ON THE GROUND to die. nobody helped the guy at least drag him onto the sidewalk why just let him lie there. people are disgusting so selfish. hope everybody who was there have the same happen to them because karma is a bitch. same goes that taxi driver who KNEW a man was lying there on the ground and still drove over him. is it because he's black because if he was white…

Years and years ago my uncle had a similar incident. He had been at a club and idk if he was talking to a woman or not, a guy walked up to him and hit him, he wasn't expecting it and he fell back. He hit his head on the curb which was behind him. He almost died. It sucks but you cant plan for everything. It's great that this guy was able to be caught with help. IMO the police are understaffed and overworked.

Interestingly, N. S. W. Australia brought out “One Punch” laws (2014 ?) to deal with perpetrators crimes like this after a handful of young men tragically lost their lives on Sydney streets in a short space of time .
This kind of assault is taken very seriously here and I believe there is a mandatory gaol sentence for those convicted .
