The journalist exposes her stupidity by saying she was "building up" to the big finish question, while obviously bothering him in a way that would obviously result in him hanging up. As insane as it sounds, her lack of tact may have cost valuable information. Look up "empathy based interrogation," it's been proven to be far more fruitful than her silly fork in the electrical socket actions.

This is so devastating… I’m a lifelong & very proud CT resident, and this person sickens me and I HATE knowing we have another serial killer here (the first, that i KNOW OF was Michael Ross, another brutal POS) ..I mean, this is a very nice place and I just hate knowing that this person lived so close by and brutally abused & murdered innocent women- in my very beautiful home state too. . But I guess it’s true, there are monsters everywhere. It’s a Very sad feeling.. and I grew up, along with my siblings, in the 90s.. ugh.. it just sucks when it actually hits SO close to home.

This man could have given some real insight into the mind of a serial killer and once again this reporter screws that up. He said he does not want to talk to reporters but decided to as a favor to Anne, so this reporter had a once in a lifetime chance to talk to him and possibly get some answers to other crimes but then has to push on a subject that he obviously did not want to continue with. She ought to be fired or at least schooled on how to conduct an interview, especially ones that could bring answers to a family with someone missing. Such extremely important interviews should always be done by people who know what they are doing, not some woman who acts fake, makes fake facial expressions, and pushes someone to hang up the phone while they are spilling their guts about an important subject.
