Renee was my teacher in high school- she was murdered my senior year. One of my friends actually called me to tell me she was killed. It was initially thought the man who was renting the poll barn was the suspect. I cannot believe it took so long to get this human trash. Safe to say it shook me. She was the sweetest person in the world and I think about her often. I truly hope she is at peace.
Why wouldn’t her friend help her that night. If one have found a way to spend the night with her and dealt with my commitment that Saturday. She was most likely killed that night by her ex husband!!!!! It took them awhile to get him but they did. Men and women with this kind of self entitlement are really dangerous!!! They give off red flags during all their relationships!! Possession of their partners, control issues, flash anger, arrogance.
Man it goes to show you….if you just go full scumbag and lawyer up and not care what anybody thinks, you can get away with it, it's when people try to look innocent, that's when they get busted. This guy just didn't care everyone knows and got away with it, well so far
Joyce is no friend. Why are they interviewing her like she was actually a friend. She cried out to Joyce that night for help, but she had plans the next day, that were more important her friend in need. It's strange how Renee's friends were so sure Michael was so dangerous, but did nothing until after she was dead…
I don't get one thing can someone explain me to understand it. If he is the last person seen with her and he is refusing to do lie detector test even though he says he is "innocent" why Police are not doing lie detector? by the law, they are not allowed to?
Poor police work they should have gotten a warrant searched his parents house his car his phone and him for any blood the day after

She saved a life and then lost hers that' s sad and her husband didn' t want to know her condition or anything because he already knew! As for her friend saying that was an odd request, would you not think to actually honor her plea then? !
In October 2020, Michael Pagel was sentenced to 25 to 50 years in prison. Apparently his brother (who disliked Renee) came forward with the information saying "Michael was “losing it” and he was afraid of becoming Michael’s next victim. – In 2011, he and Michael had been sitting together in a car, having drinks and looking out at a river when all of the sudden, Michael took out a bag. Inside the bag was a knife wrapped in cloth. He told his brother, “This is how I finalized my divorce.” The brother directed police to the part of the river where knife was thrown, after three days of searching police were able to recover the murder weapon.

That friend should be ashamed of herself. So what if she wanted to stay? Its not like she was going to stay up all night and party, she was recovering from surgery, "oh, I had plans the next day", so? You can still go to your plans… this lady donated a kidney and she had no one to stay with her and care for her 😓
It was truly tragic that her husband killed her AFTER she donated a kidney…when she was weak and recovering.
Michael was convicted in 2020 and is serving 25-50 for second degree murder. Confessed to brother Beau who later went to police and shared the info. Knife was found in river where Beau said Michael threw it.

I find the interviewer in this to be pretty disgusting. She states that he has moved several times…then she shows up at his door banging and then chases him down the driveway…"Michael!Michael! Did you kill your exwife?" Like she is deranged. There are courts of law to decide his guilt. Being a crazed reporter just makes her look stupid and this show less credible.

This is so so sad. My mom was a kidney recipient. I no longer have contact with her donor but I will forever be thankful for her gift to my mom. She gave my mom 25 more years of life. What Renee did for that man is truly one of the most selfless acts of kindness you can do for another human. I’m glad a piece of Renee gets to live on. 💕💕
