In 2019, Allyson Duckro broke up with her boyfriend James Rayl after a series of alleged verbal abuse. After the breakup, Rayl moved to California and Duckro didn’t expect to see him again. In 2022, Rayl returned to Ohio and contacted Duckro wanting to meet, but Duckro refused. On July 31st, 2022, Rayl showed up to Duckro’s house. After ordering for Rayl to leave the house, he attempted to break through their door. Allyson’s father, Mitchell Duckro, gave Rayl a warning that he was armed, but Rayl continued to slam into the front door. Moments later, Mitchell shot Rayl three times. A grand jury voted 8-1 not to indict Mitchell Duckro for the death of James Rayl. Watch the full questioning of Allyson Duckro.

Why not call 911? Why shoot? He was polite in his text messages 💔🖤
What a loser lol
As a parent you would do anything to make sure your family is safe.
4:14 why wait for a lawyer when SHE didn’t even do anything. SHE was the supposed victim of the kid didn’t die. What? She needs a lawyer because she was still alive when she was meant to be a victim?
The woman arrived back at her home, and saw her ex standing right in front of her house. Probably he tried to talk to her, but she rushed into her house without caring to have a dialogue. Its natural to keep pushing for a talk especially when you wanna get things off your chest and haven't still gotten over your ex. The family already knew the deceased since his highschool, and it could had been handled in a non-violent way if the father had properly tried to talk him out of bothering her. The deceased wasn't also equipped with any life threatening weapons, and no prior calls were made by the family to the police informing them of a potential 'danger'. The shots could had been only one at a non-lethal area to barely neutralize and incapacitate the 'danger', but the dad shot him thrice because he wanted a kill and nothing more! Moreover, the woman could be seen smiling and laughing during the interrogation as if its a conversation between friends and she actually wanted him dead!
This guy should have walked away. He brought his fate onto himself.
The kid died. This happened in Ohio in 2022
I wouldn’t have indicted the father. If I was on the grand jury I would have apologized for him having been there. The video clearly shows the ex boyfriend trying to break in.
Father of the Year.
Weird country
nah i think thats why ohios weird
damn
Thank you for covering this
James sister thinks to sue my family for this
They’re crazy as well
Duckro= Duke Row
Father was in the right and the family of that young man should be ashamed of their behavior afterward.
This line of questioning is strange why are they doing it like this in the first place.
Well at least she doesn't need to worry about the Ex anymore
I remember this case
Duckro & Rayl .. strange names. Sounds like a law firm
There is a weird moment at 19:05… the detective asks “and where did everybody go? Where did dad go?” And as she asks she indicates to the girl, jerking her thumb over her shoulder in an “away” gesture. She does this twice quickly while doing a couple of confirmation nods as the girl says “umm” but after seeing the gestures and nodding she says that he put the gun down and walked away. I am in no way suggesting that isn’t the truth – I have not even watched the full video yet, I just saw this as very strange from the detective and would love to hear anyone else’s opinion on what happened in that interaction? Thanks! 😊
Dont watch this boring
Snooze
Ditch the AI narrator. This isn't Tik Tok
Lawyer !!!!!! end of interview
Cops are not trying to get to the truth. Most of them try to get the easiest conviction possible. They are eager to wrap up the case, even if they make a mistake and move on. Never talk to a “friendly” cop without an attorney present.
The shooting is pretty intense but The guy really doesn't wanna give up trying to get in the house
Please find a different person to narrate. This dude has the most annoying voice possible.
Justice was served…case closed.
The terrible sound is wreaking havoc on my misophonia!
I can't watch this.
What's up with this channel doing videos with commentary, assessing the behavior of a clearly in shock and most importantly INNOCENT young woman? Easy to say she should have waited for a lawyer…NOW.
This is old and the father should have never even been arrested.
He defended not killed. What horrors did the exboyfriend had in mind to her and family
