Bryan Kohberger Judge Green Lights Cameras in Idaho Student Murders Trial – Everything Law and Order Blog

In a court hearing Thursday, the judge presiding over the quadruple murder trial against Bryan Kohberger said he will not ban cameras in the courtroom. Kohberger is accused of killing four University of Idaho students in November 2022 inside their off-campus apartment while they slept — and his attorneys have been working on keeping cameras outside courtroom walls. Judge John Judge confirmed rather than banning cameras, he will “take more control” of them as the case moves forward.

  1. His lawyer really just sat there and rambled about state laws that are outside of Idaho, literally wasting 20 minutes of time, when he easily could’ve just said Idaho doesn’t use the term guilty upon a reasonable doubt.

  2. I'm loving this Judge and his whole fairness about him and his decisions. He seems fairly partial to both sides of the fence.

Just when I think I've got my hunches about him being guilty – something comes out/up that makes me doubtful of my reasoning. Such a very strange case, and so incredibly sad 😢.

    Rest in Eternal Peace

  3. That’s right, those whom are not part of the media class cannot claim to be media. The judge is the only arbiter of whom maybe part of or called “media”. It is best if the dissemination of information is controlled by judges, or other elected officials. It wouldn’t be good otherwise…

  4. He'll win on a technicality. There's no blood in the Elantra. He could have donated the sheath to a thift shop and someone else could have purchased it. MASSIVE BLOOD, GURGLES, DEATH SCREAMS MUST HAVE BEEN HEARD AND SEEN… yet.. the girls didn't call 911 in addition to 'seeing' him and him not doing anything to them? Somehow there was enough time for him to clean up? How did he know their EXACT plans of when they were gonna come back after spending ALLLLLLLL night out? He wasn't waiting in his car for 10 hours cause he would have ran out of gas. He wasn't sitting there with his car turned off because it was winter, he would have suffered from hypothermia. One, if not both, of the girls were either updating him/involved or he didn't do it.

    He'll be free.

  5. I live in France and no trial is ever going into the public domain through video. You may get photos, sketches and reports but nothing more from inside the court once it is in session. I regret this to some extend because we, as civilians need to realise how justice is actually served. Yet again, the justice system over here is SO biased, they won't ever want to show it publicly. In cases without a jury, Judges over here don't apply the Law, they judge, before ruling all of which is down to their own appreciation of a case. That is very wrong in my view since they rarely even bother to truly read the files they are given to rule upon.

  6. Having worked Municipal court I know well enough to wait for all facts from trial. In this sick liberal city I unfortunately live in we have had to many wrongly convicted. Either by some police, lying witnesses, people paid not to come forward to testify, or not enough DNA testing.
