The first red flag was his profession. A Repo Man? Why anyone would live with someone with that level of dysfunction, and bring their child into it is beyond me. This woman ignored every sign. She didn't keep her son safe. Abuse is 100% the fault of the abuser but everyone is required to not let themselves be victims, and teach their children self worth. She clearly had very little.
