He was in a rage. He should have gone to jail for a long time. He got off because he's a firefighter. Rebecca is way too forgiving.

2. He says he was trying to make the situation better by putting Rebecca back inside her car. After he beat her unconscious. He was covering up the crime. Why isn't this guy in prison still? Thank God there was a video because we would be hearing a lot more lies from this firefighter.

3. I remember this. I knew the woman involved. She was a member of LA Trapper's message board. Spoke to her after her ordeal via text message. What he and his mother did to her was horrible. For the crime of having compassion over the hungry cats in his neighborhood. There is no excuse. I don't even want to hear it. She could have died.

9. He is a monster, you barricade a women in her car, in HER space, then beat her to the point of head injury because she protects herself. Piece of shit, not defending his mother, unleashed rage. Could have walked away at ANY point. He should have been sentenced for at least a full year. Glad he lost his career, no business being in public service.

10. What's is truly sad is how he refuses to take responsibility even today. He approached her 1st, he was practically in her car from the get go. And to me it looks like he's the one who tossed his mother back to fall. He flat out lied about how she was injured. He is a pathetic man. And should serve more than the sentence he received.

    Since he was a fire fighter in LA he lost his entire career because he was found guilty of a felony. Had it been a misdemeanor he would’ve been okay. And was the “victim“ ever charged with misdemeanor assault for throwing cat food in his face and for slapping the mother first???.

15. Late to the shit show here but I watched it 10x, rewatched 5 more, zoomed in, & drug it in slow-mo, & though the timing is tricky, you can DEF see the driver pull her leg up & kick the mother. He got the punishment he deserved. Period. He wasn’t defending his mom, he was pissed off, & hit her multiple times. (4:26 you can see her raise her leg)

I'm sorry if I'm posting this on the wrong clip….I haven't gotten this far….I hope not…I was trying to find the one you mentioned about a woman got killed over feeding a cat. I had a friend that served three months in jail for feeding stray cats. May she RIP! I thought that was bad enough. This is just completely out of the realm of being anything close to her charge. 19. How can you say he was going to defend his mother for being kicked to the ground when she was falling to the ground as he was punching the lady? It's my opinion he pulled his mother to the ground he was already going in to punch the lady and pulled his mother to the ground and using that as an excuse that the lady killed her to the ground.
