‘Worst Possible Thing’: Timothy Ferriter Severely Abused His Son By Locking Him Up, State Says

1. I’m just seeing this case. Did the school not see any issues at all when he went to school??

2. Didn’t bleep out the children’s names and ages!! Including the victim

3. Great delivery by this attorney with super clear description of the law geared to a jury of probably all non-lawyers. Well done!

Pretty regularly i ask myself if I'm doing right by my step son, is he happy in my care, did i come down on him too hard when he does needs discipline which luckily isn't much he's a fantastic kid, he has trauma and issues he deals with but he's my boy, and then i see stuff like this and i feel like I'm on track. I'm so sorry this boy had to live like this, kept like a prisoner, it's disgusting and i dont understand how they slept at night.

7. Right off the bat, knowing he was an adopted Vietnamese child, you have know there was trauma there to begin with, which should have been attended to. He may have run away from home because, as a young child, he did NOT see the Ferriters as his true parents, and he was angry at them for trying to make it so.

18. A later video of Tim Ferriter shaking like a leaf while they decide whether or not to allow him out on bail pending sentencing (they don’t) shows just what a coward and bully this man is. He folds like a napkin after being locked up for a short time while his child was locked up for a much, much longer time and survived while staying stronger than this abusive coward.

19. This poor child what he had to go through they both should be locked up in a cage for the rest of their life I don't understand why did they adopt him just to be so cruel.

37. Adopted children are not clean slates. A lot of us come with emotional baggage. We aren’t replacement children. Many many of us suffer from trauma because of being relinquished from our birth families. This child was taken from his birth family, taken from his birth country and unfortunately placed with “parents” that treated him like this. It makes me so angry. Not everyone should be allowed to adopt.

39. The father bought the new house in Florida and had the box built to continue the treatment Ronan had already been subjected to before they moved to Florida!!!! This had been going on for years before anyone knew about it!!!
