  1. I feel she needed to step up with this case in her college years, not after 10years and yes the coach was 100% wrong. But she was suppose to address this in her earlier years, after 18 you are responsible for your mistakes. However I wish the story had never ended this way, it is very saddening, and she does deserve justice for her murder!

  2. Uhhh cops and courts got paid good enough to close the case and I believe the couch hade something to do with her ☠ death. Or her ex boyfriend but whyyy close the case 😢😢😢😢😢😮 💔

  3. Dude def had a motive to kill her. Horrible to think her last moment was with the person who caused her so much pain in life. The police still have nothing 4 years later?

  4. If you kill someone she's not there for you to comfort your accuser… that's just weird. If there is evidence there is evidence. I'm all for the law being followed and being punished if you break the law. And I have broken it a few times did my time but I digress. That has to be a state thing cuz where I live that wouldn't fly.

  5. So what happens if you're murdered and the murderer can't "face their accuser" ? Do they just get away with it then?? Sickening.

  6. He should have been charged. 87 minutes of admissions. They likely would not have been able to prove statutory rape (but sexual assault yes)! This is a testament to young women…please don't wait to report abuse. Go talk to someone. Sexual contact on a minor is NEVER OKAY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. REPORT IT, IF YOU SEE IT, hear it, or are told about it happening.

  7. Emily didn't put herself into that trash can like that. Clearly someone had to physically do it to her and I wonder if the police dropped the ball. This was a clear case of homicide and I hope they looked for foot prince through the house and the garbage can and EVERYWHERE… This is disgusting how this was thrown away like nothing because they were to lazy to investigate!

  8. I honestly think this man had someone kill her so the charges would get dropped I hope he spill it one day and he gets caught cause these detectives are so delusional it was staged as a hit no traces nothing

  9. This Missouri law makes now sense. I can’t imagine why it hadn’t been changed by now or more specifically after this tragic event. The mere fact that the accuser must face the perpetrator in court, further invites additional avenues to either add more pain, torture and ultimately as for Emily, death. I’m appalled by this and endlessly feel for her beautiful family, her young children, her parents & of course her loving father. RIP Emily and may God take care of the accused SICK SOB! My gosh 🤨PS: The medical examiner made a huge mistake, along with too many other factors that just don’t make any sensical sense.
