Why didnt the defense call the doctors that she spoke to when she said it was an accident?
I'm just not buying it that this was premeditated. I think it was reckless yes. An accident. I don't think he deserves to be in prison for the rest of his life though.

I don't think he is guilty. I think this was a horrible accident. Doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to be punished, but I don't think this was intentional. I bet his wife would be horrified of this. When her last words were this was an accident and now her husband will die in prison.

I don’t think the EVIDENCE pointed to murder. I think manslaughter and reckless endangerment would have been more appropriate. He should have known better. You don’t just leave a gun casually hanging out. I think the female witness put the nail in his coffin though when she recanted the statements he made when they made it to the hospital.
