I work in the medical field as a PICU RN, and it’s crazy how doctors did all those procedures she did not need! There are exams in place like a swallow evaluation to see if she really can’t swallow. I have only seen one case of Munchausen by proxy in 21 years and it was crazy. Gypsy is a victim and unfortunately learned how to manipulate and in turn used Godejohn. He should not be serving life as he was a victim! So sad!
I don't condone what she did but that's easy for me to say because I was never in her position. This is proof that the system doesn't protect the child! Such a sad world that we live in! 😢

She deserved treatment, therapy, rehab—-not prison.

Gypsy was basically had to hide her real identity. She wanted to do the right thing I’m not saying it is right. I have that she just needed to survive. She didn’t need to put on that medicine. She didn’t need to be fake being sick. Her mom controlled her and she should’ve had the right life. So I’m glad she’s out of jail.

I'm a Munchausen by Proxy victim and when I read any headline minimizing what the mother did, it is insulting to us victims. Munchausen by Proxy IS also murder. Some of us don't die. Many do. I still think Nicholas Godejohn's sentence was far too much. He didn't have the "woman card" to fall back on sadly

I think she should be released but I hope she will receive counseling I hope she got it in prison. I hope she lives a long happy life and we never hear from her again because something tells me differently

One thing I don’t understand is if Gypsy is innocent why isn’t he? He killed a child abuser. And she orchestrated a murder how’s she now wrong but he is? I’m not saying she should be in prison but he shouldn’t at her request
