Alex Murdaugh appeared in court Thursday while the state and his defense attorneys determined his next trial date. The convicted killer’s attorneys argued it’s going to be impossible to find a fair jury to sit on his financial crimes trial. “Where are we going to get a jury, mars?” defense attorney Dick Harpootlian asked. Murdaugh wore an orange jumpsuit and often smiled at the judge and his attorneys. A trial date was set for the Monday after Thanksgiving.
