Ronald Kirby, D.C.’s director of transportation, was gunned down in broad daylight in his nice neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia. Was the killing random, or did someone with a grudge target him specifically? Kirby’s murder, it turns out, shared a lot of similarities with a murder that took place about a decade earlier, and a murder that took place after his own death as well. Crime Watch Daily’s Michelle Sigona investigates these three murders and how the killer was finally exposed.

  1. I know the interviewer is a survivor and in all honesty, I command her for taking back control of her life but I hate it when she puts words in the interviewee’s mouth. Can’t she just ask short precise questions and let the person speak?

  2. That knock that crime watch put in there, freaked me out. I hate when people knock or ring my doorbell lol

Btw. Does anyone else think it’s scary that she left the blood stain on the hardwood? I wouldn’t be able to live in that house anymore .

  3. Live in dc born & raised never had a problem. Raised middle class & am black. So dc is not all hood. Just a city like any other in many ways. Not to lock your door though it's not the 40s. Who keeps the carpet ?? Creepy… Yes the hood can be dangerous but to a point overblown. So if you don't live here shut the he'll up

  4. His wife seems a little creepy. She prob isn't but reminds of the typical little old lady in a horror movie who isn't as innocent as should be. And I was thinking this BEFORE she showed the carpet stain.

  5. Wow this is so sad his poor wife saved the rug he died on, and cut off an area no one can walk on. Omg I couldn’t imagine. She will die in that house just like her husband, I mean by like old age etc. I hope she can find peace in her heart and love her last days with her children and any grandchildren!

  6. TRULY. SAD,WHAT GETS ME IS BECAUSE OF WHERE YOU LIVE UPPERCRUST SO TO SPEAK,THINGS LIKE THAT DON'T HAPPEN IN THIS NECK OF THE WOODS.BUT IT DO AND DOES.THIS WORLD IS FULL OF PSHYCOS PERIOD. SORRY FOR THE FAMILY'S LOSS..

  7. Here we go with the We didn't keep the doors locked because it was such a nice neighborhood, I don't care! Lock the doors and save a life! Praying for the family….

  8. I will never understand these 'nice neighborhood' people who don't lock their fucking doors. Just because it's a "nice neighborhood" doesn't mean you don't lock your fucking doors! And furthermore, it's ALWAYS neighborhoods where "people don't lock their doors" that shit like this always happens! It's like these people have never seen ID Channel, FFS

  9. I love this reporter, she’s compassionate and always engaged in her stories. Other reportes can seem disconnected and robotic, like they’re just going through the motions – but she really cares.

  10. 3:20
Yeah it's a tragedy an all but that's just fucking weird…..
    She's weird as fuck.
I'm also surprised CWD actually got the subsonic ammo fact right
Sub-sonic ammunition is just that, it's loaded specifically so that the projectile will not break the sound barrier and create a supersonic crack. The only sound created is the expanding gasses from the gunpowder.
Subsonic ammunition is usually meant to be used with a silencer which helps to contain those expanding gasses, and together you can get a firearm pretty quiet.

  11. From someone who resides in Fairfax County, VA I would say that Alexandria is a very dangerous place to reside. As of March 2018 it is filled with african americans, and latinos. Its very nerve recking!

  12. Some people are put here to bless the world if only for a short while. To live a good life and die by evil is so hard to comprehend for us, but there is always a reason for everything and we have to be okay with not knowing that reason. I'm so sorry for his family, to lose someone this way is awful 😔
