Intense bodycam footage captures the harrowing moment an Ohio police officer was dragged by an alleged getaway driver during a foot chase in Cleveland. On July 29th, a routine traffic stop quickly escalated when a teenage suspect fled on foot, leading officers on a brief pursuit before unexpectedly being picked up by the same vehicle he had exited moments earlier.

The heart-stopping video shows the officer clinging to the open driver’s side door as the vehicle speeds away, dragging him along the pavement. Despite the dangerous situation, the officer maintained his composure and grip until the vehicle came to a stop, allowing him to break free. Authorities have launched a manhunt for the suspect driver and passenger, who remain at large after this brazen attempt to evade arrest.
