The prosecution team seeking a conviction against Thomas Randolph presented their opening statement Friday. Randolph stands accused of killing his sixth wife and the man he claims murdered her. Prosecutor Chris Hamner detailed a timeline of events surrounding the murders, including his relationship with the alleged hitman, Michael Miller, and allegedly telling another woman he would “find a way” to leave his wife, Sharon Causse. “It’s very, very, very hard to plan the perfect murder,” Hamner said. Randolph was found guilty of the murders and sentenced to death in 2017 before a judge overturned his conviction based on prior-bad-act evidence.

I wonder if there are any finger prints on the jewelry or if Tom assembled the bag after the murders?
He looks like a woman!
What? Why comparison between infidelity to giving daughter $100?
Kills friend to cover killing of wife. Sick. Like that woman who killed that young man to frame ex-husband so he couldn’t get custody
I thought could bring in prior if it’s a pattern. His wives die but not from illness.
So the intruder shot wife but put gun away? So had to struggle to get it after bumped into defendant?
Not a lot of solid evidence.
So tired of people putting themselves in harm’s way because “I don’t want to be alone” and “I’m not going to listen to your warnings, I want this man”. Okay, sweetheart, then suffer the consequences. When people do this, so many others are affected, so leave her alone to her wants and if she dies from his actions, then OH WELL! I’m tired of being “my brother’s keeper” that the Lord and I are still working on me. OMG!
It's painful watching a detective present for an interview about a serious crime unable to feign the slightest bit of interest for a single moment.
That’s a weak opening considering no real proof was offered or even hinted at. Imagine yourself a juror – I’d be thinking the prosecution is starting on the back foot and wonder why.
He's toast.
My only question is this a women posing as a man.
Nancy Brophy and this guy should be married in prison.
Why did the neighbor not call 911? I am not blaming the neighbor. I just wonder why he didn’t call 911 himself.
Thomas Randolph is evil!
Isn't the perfect murder simply one where the victim dies, and the killer survives? Getting caught or getting away with it seems irrelevant.
Quit blurring out graphic photos. When it’s fantasy you’ll show violent scenes with impunity, but when it’s real life you hide reality. People need to grow up and wake up and realize the media treats us like children.
Why did the judge overturn the conviction on bad evidence?
