Prosecutor Calls Austin Ford a Liar During His Best Friend’s Murder Retrial

The state called Austin Ford a liar during its opening statement in the best friend murder retrial Tuesday. Ford is accused of murdering his best friend — Tori Lang — in July 2021. The 18-year-old’s body was found at a popular park in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Ford went to trial for the crime in April, but a judge was forced to declare a mistrial after a jury was deadlocked on a verdict.
