  1. Unfortunately younger kids don't understand how answering questions can fuck up their case…. i mean she was older than the age of consent and in transcript clearly said she possibly promised him sexual favors for alcohol…. unfortunately that's her case out the window. That was her informed consent. Now i 100% believe she was raped because if it was consensual they wouldn't have dumped her in the front yard but not only that. I just know if she hadn't of been raped she wouldn't have come forward… cause that's even more embarrassment which is what girls are trying to avoid period. The thing is in the eyes of the law if you expect a young man to not have sex with that girl when he is drunk. You have to also sat that regardless of her having already drank if she "possibly promised sexual favors" you have to ride with that choice you made drunk just like him. I hope that makes sense def not blaming her. I graduated high school before her like 6 years before her when the climate was worse for this stuff but my friends and i would def have beat the breaks.off dude for that shit.

  2. "Don't blame yourself" – well, it's a terrible advice to a rape victim. Don't get me wrong, I am not protecting rapists in any way. Nothing can be an excuse for rape. However, realizing and analyzing your own mistakes is one of the teaching methods. If you do not consider it a mistake that you went to the guy for the night to drink and chill, then you will do it again, even if you do not want any sexual contacts. And you need to understand that grown-up guys do not call you home to play Lego and build railways. Of course not it is not, but you need to weigh the pros and cons in advance. And the second point is questions to her parents. A 14 year old child sleeps away from home and no one even knows where she is. So, what result are you expecting? It's just crazy for me, as a father of 2.

  3. I know how she feels.
My story was different than Daisy's but there are similarities. I was grilled by the police as though I was the perpetrator (because his brother played professional sports – a well known name), and I too had a friend turn on me, and had horrible court appointed lawyers. My perpetrator only received 6 months probation. I was attacked, and received a Life Sentence of PTSD, anxiety attacks, insomnia, self-esteem issues, etc. I never attempted to take my life though, and was lucky to have found a wonderful man (and best friend) to share my life. Next weekend we'll have been happily married for 25 years.

    Rest in Peace Daisy! ❤

  4. For anyone watching sadly on August 4, 2020 Daisy Coleman committed suicide just hours after police did a wellness check on her, she shot and killed herself. Daisy was only 23.😔 it is truly devastating and my heart goes out to her and her family FLY HIGHT DAISY! WE LOVE YOU! ♥️Rip Daisy 3/30/97- 8/4/20♥️

  5. You know what .. i am really really happy for Daisy cuz she became a beautiful woman, very strong . She passed through horrible things but showed to all of us that when we are right , we can do anything in life cuz we are free ! where are the guys who raped her? i dont know, but i can imagine something, wherever they are, they may escape for what they have done but they will never escape from their consciousness cuz every action has an reaction so .. they are not in the jail fisically but mentally oh yeah wich is worse .
. God bles all of you girls .

  6. Bitch says “I don’t think there’s been enough blame on the victim.”

YOU JUST CALLED HER A VICTIM, do you not see the mad irony?!?!???!!! So fuckin ironic and GD ignorant

  7. Those stupid girls saying 'there should be more blame on the victims' should be thrown in the same situation and see if they'd still be saying the same dumb shit! What is wrong with ppl!

  8. A few important facts have been omitted. Her family was driven out of the town because somebody or some people burnt their house down. Also, if I remember correctly, the girl who Daisy was with at that night was also sexual assaulted.

  9. That’s why a lot of women don’t report that they were raped cause of this shit. This is bullshit. God will punish him for what he did to you. Let God handle since the justice system can’t do there Job.

  10. Was anybody else extremely bothered when the two girls were like oh they aren’t putting enough blame on the victim and I feel like there are real rape victims that aren’t getting this attention that should like your fucking kidding right?

  11. There's nothing that can justify what this monster did to Daisy. Yes, she's guilty of being naive and go out to drink with friends. But that last word, friends, says it all. She was trusting the people that she went to hangout with. She didn't expect that any of their friends are gonna do such atrocious act. I hope she finds the comfort and piece of mind she deserves.

  12. Every time Elizabeth Smart does an interview, she tends to try and talk about what she went thru a lot. It seems rude to me because i feel like it’s taking the focus off of this victims situation and making it about her and what she went thru instead of the story Daisy is trying to tell. It’s Daisy’s interview. Let her tell her story! You can empathize without always trying to tell your story every chance you get. Let these victims have their time. You’ve had your time to tell your story!

  13. I really feel like slapping those two bitches face. I get that people think that if your drunk your asking yourself to be put into that vulnerable state. BUT WHY TF DO YOU FORGET IT'S COMPLETELY WRONG TO FREAKING DO SHIT LIKE WHAT THAT DUDE DID. REGARDLESS. 😑

  14. "Real "rape victims?? Wow pray you girls never have to find it what it means to be a "real" rape victim and figure out the difference for yourself. Rape is rape. To have the audacity to say someone isn't a real victim is absolutely shameful.

  15. That's why kids shouldn't drink and maybe raise the age limit to 25 also. Seems like both parties made mistakes but no actual proof of rape, its a shame she was drunk and couldn't remember if she was raped, I'd hate to see a real rapist get off. He was wrong to leave her in the cold but i could see a teenager not wanting to get caught and what about her friend that was supposedly dropped off with her, if that's the case she should of been charged with him for endangerment.
