Little stupid things like this when in public its public, has was and always will be. Because someone wants to inspect it you dont make unreasonable means for them to do so. The sergeant is at fault, he prohibited it, I provided him the direct access to the person who is in charge.

  1. What's crazy is that these are the people who we are supposed to count on when we have an emergency, they know nothing about the law or how to handle a simple request, no wonder ppl are disgusted w/cops in general!!

  2. What did you touch when your comment was "still 97.5" ? If it offered to take your temperature it would be a real sneaky way to get a fingerprint.

  3. Public employees have no reason to keep secrets, only criminal employees need to keep secrets and hide. Their actions show who and what they are. What trouble could an honest employee get in for being transparency? Only dishonest employees give trouble to honest employees.

  4. If there is a criminal code that goes with restricting public records access, how would one even go about charging/citing a cop with a clear violation of the LAW? It isn't a felony so a citizen's arrest would not apply here. A cop won't enforce the law with another cop so no help there. Just curious what the people do when the cops break the law. What just happen was a clear and blatant violation of law.

  5. A Perfect example of public service employees at their best. 7 People to explain why they can’t do what they are supposed to do because?????

  6. A Bunch of you guys should up your game, and go to Washington DC, and start to do audits on all of the politicians and their dirty deeds. Damn your views would be off the charts.

  7. That Sargent is one of those cops that has to have the upper hand, this will include standing on your rights because he has immunity. He knew that he had to show the log, but because he was told to get ID in every single interaction, he couldn't move forward without it. Programmed like RoboCop to enforce policy over law
    Great work you guys

  8. 119.10 Violation of chapter; penalties.—

    (1) Any public officer who:

    (a) Violates any provision of this chapter commits a noncriminal infraction, punishable by fine not exceeding $500.

The penalties are greater when the officer knowingly violates this law. You should have pursued having the sergeant cited for this. The law explicitly states "ANY PUBLIC OFFICER," which means there is no immunity for an ignorant sergeant. There's a good chance he'd get off when he challenges the citation in court (which is unacceptable), but it would educate all officers.

  9. Why?… It's a bit disconcerting knowing there's people out there instigating shit with the cops for content… There is no reason for him to see it, other than doing to garner views.

  10. Florida's unconstitutional new Riot Act makes it that if there's 4 or more auditors they lose their first and Fourth Amendment

  11. Hard sergeant?
    Lol
    He ain’t shit.
A punk with stripes don’t mean anything.
He’s a dunky on the government thug payroll.
No different than the Italian Mafia, most of these assholes that take the job in law enforcement would end up in other gangs anyway,
    Common hoods with badges.
They are no different than any other gangsters except for the backing of the prosecutors office and the corrupt courts.

  12. That's time you'll never get back! And how does an employee not know the laws ? What if airline mechanic's didn't know how to repair planes? Yet We think its ok for these incompetent law enforcers to keep there jobs? Keep up the good work, I think they should pay you for being a training officer.
