  1. Why this documentary is not mentioning Melinda Dawson? She was the one who literally took the evidence that founded him not guilty. If you are going to tell a story, give the real facts and how it really happened. Melinda Dawson told the real story in Criminal podcast.

  3. I don’t like how they are talking about it like he did it himself. He would still be in prison today if it wasn’t for her his ex wife who fought completely alone for years to free him

  4. TONIA BRASIEL … The rapist/murderer's girlfriend – who left the naked 6yo girl on the doorstep for 45 minutes, while she forged a plan with the real rapist/murderer – was TONIA BRASIEL who is on Facebook and Instagram and was never charged by the incompetent and corrupt prosecutors Moreen O’Connor ( now chief justice of the Ohio Supreme Court) and Michael Carroll. https://www.instagram.com/p/CLvTi0QBQm7/ https://www.instagram.com/explore/locations/1514693132165018/corkys-thomastown/?hl=en

  5. Right off, seems officers had tunnel vision! From the little girl having to sit and wait outside for 45 min!!! , then slapping cuffs on his son!! Think these cops need some more training before they jump the gun!!
This is just horrible all around!

  6. How was this man even initially convicted? The deceased was said to have human tissue under her finger nails, some of which were broken. She resisted her attacker initially, resulting in his tissue collecting under her nails. Yet, Clarence Elkins suffered no such injuries. The tissue under the nails, implies the attacker had to have sustained visible injury. Why then was Elkins even convicted when he had no such injuries?

  7. I have seen this story before CRIME WATCH DAILY reported on it and the character in the other story that solved this murder was Clarence's wife, Melinda. In this story, she is not even mentioned here – how is that???

  8. It goes that she had herself went all around the neighbors and the city collecting DNA from knowing criminals within the city and cities nearby she herself gave the idea to her then husband after finding out that it was him who murdered her mother her own investigation otherwise he would have no idea it is even him the state nor the local police would do nothing about it for many years she went do the Attorney General of Ohio and a lot of heads rules from the city in the state that she lived in he terminated prosecutors and other officials watch the program on Netflix season 9 I believe episode 30 something but I'm surprised that true crime did not point this out awful it was all her idea she's the heroin this story somehow they divorced once he was out but for many years she devoted her life and friend this man look more into it there are a lot more details a lot more

  9. This is not just sad but I'm Amazed bad True Crime airing this episode I watch this episode on Netflix season 9 episode 30 something I believe shows How brave his wife was for them years yet they did not even mention anything about her she's the one that unfolded everything you need to watch that I don't believe you will watch True Crime ever again just because of the fact that they did not include the most important details in this whole case if not for her he would still be rotting in jail

  10. I always felt bad for Clarence. It's not the little girl's fault, but people should have considered how easy it is for a kid to change a tiny detail with suggestion – especially a child so horribly traumatized.

  11. What's up with the nieghbor?! They're right. You wrap the baby up and call the cops right away! Was she worried she'd be implicated or what? Either way, you don't leave a beaten, bloody, nude child on your porch for even a second. Jesus. What's wrong with people?!

  12. I swear the neighbor, wife, bitch that left that poor baby out like that should be burned at the stake!!! I get so beyond angry about how she treated that baby, she should thank God that I never see her!!!!!!!
