Before testimony started in the YNW Melly double murder trial Thursday, the state brought up a possible issue regarding a witness they plan to call to testify. The witness — who is supposedly a gang unit detective — wanted to wear a protective mask and/or outfit while testifying so his identity wouldn’t be compromised. YNW Melly is on trial for the murders of two of his best friends.
