Over a 23 year career as a LEO, I investigated about 100 death cases. In those years, I learned very important thing. Sexual predators CAN NOT be rehabilitated. Their internal wiring is different at birth than that of NORMAL humans. Their reality and ours are worlds apart. There is one thing, though, they are great mimics. It is easy for them to present "normal" and to act "cured" but it's just an act in order to a achieve a goal.
For being a criminology class, especially going to a confinement facility, it's asinine to go solo. Not too many priests, nuns, or saints can be found there. The last thing you want to be is isolated in that environment. I'd give the instructor a failing mark.
