‘Toxic roommate murder trial’ comes to an end

Eighteen-year-old Anita Knutson was a bright student working two jobs, putting herself through college, and living on her own. Her family became concerned after she failed to show up to work, so her father went to her house, where he found her stabbed to death. Nearly 20 years after her death, investigators arrested Anita’s roommate, Nichole Rice, on a charge of murder. She stood trial and recently learned her verdict. Did Anita get justice?

  1. I hope where she lives they taunt her & outcast her until she dies…I believe in redemption but I also know when someone feels they got away with it🤬😡 a big bully

  2. Whether she did or didn’t do it, the state did not have a case strong enough to prosecute. Too many loose ends — maintenance guy, guy who wanted to date, etc.

Pretty much the whole case was “well she said xyz”.

  3. How heartbreaking for this family!!! The mother blaming herself for failing to properly care for her child, who was murdered 😢😢 And, then, for the brother (her son) to unalive himself because of his sister’s death 🙏🏻🙏🏻…. & it all ending in justice not being served. SUCH a sad & tragic case/story!! 💔💔
