  1. Wonder what state because I live in Monroe county and never heard of this, the officer was lucky, this year we lost two officers to a person driving down the interstate the wrong way while drunk, killed four people. Just a reminder to have a safe way home.

  2. Alcohol, the product of decay!…….swallow some if you believe you have too many brain cells, and intelligence is not good for you, so you can become an epic fail instead!

  3. The man accused of hitting a Monroe County deputy early Sunday has been identified. He is Chip Allen Stargardt, 27, of Forsyth.

He's charged with driving under the influence, his second such charge in Monroe County in two months, according to a sheriff's office news release.

Stargardt was also charged with no proof of insurance, move over law and suspended registration, the news release states.

  4. Not only do we have drunk fucks to watch out for on the road but also dumb shits "TEXTING". The scary thing is I see more PARENTS texting than kids. Just a sad immature world we live in that ppl can't wait to drink or text when they get home. They "HAVE" to jeopardize everyone else around them on the road so they can have what they want for that very second. SMH

  5. Hmm, to me it looks as though the drunk driver purposely hit the officer's vehicle. In the end both of the drivers had swerved to their right and would have been clear from each other but it seems to me that the drunk driver purposely swerved back to his left. Maybe it's just me though.

  6. Always keep to the right. Once you try to swerve to the left, the other guy swerves right, so then you swerve back to the right, then he swerves left, and you crash head on.
