A Gates teen is in custody after trying to escape from police out of a bathroom window. On Tuesday, Gates police say they went to serve a warrant at a home for burglary in the third degree.
They say when they arrived at the home, 17-year-old Nicholas Hinchman ran from officers and locked himself in a bathroom.
Officers forced their way into the bathroom as Hinchman jumped through and out of the bathroom window.
