A supervisor with the Palm Beach County sheriffs office commits a violation on the first amendment by shining his flashlight directly at me and holding it.

The supervisor that responded is not the one who shine the flashlight but a superior to him. Now watch to the end cops have very little sense of humor.

I did rectify this prior to leaving, the same supervisor came and offered water. I will be demanding that a policy be enacted about spotlighting any journalist.

I’ll need your help. Details to follow.

  1. It's Not illegal TO SHINE A FLASHLIGHT on a police officer.. depending on the circumstances, it might be very, very stupid, but not illegal. Stay safe Chris. SHINE ON SHINE OFF SHINE ON SHINE OFF

  2. Being a subscriber and big big fan of your very calm audits, I will say this….you have no case Their attorney is going to come back and say shining a spotlight on you for 30 seconds at a murder scene while invoking the magic cop get out of jail card….officer safety. Drop this complaint….it's a loser.

  3. I saw a meme yesterday on the yt feed that showed the tattoo comment. Showed a tatted up cop with the caption “comforting ?”

  4. Maybe these police departments need to stop hiring bodybuilders who are covered in tattoos and start hiring some decent human beings who like to work in a customer service which is about 95% of important police work.

  5. It's amazing how this cop has been on the force for 10 years and never seen anybody use their flashlight to stop a recording and yet every auditor who's ever gone out at night has seen it??

  6. What was the superiors name and why did that officer not name him when you wanted to file a complaint??He was obstructing any complaint process that you were attempting to initiate.

  7. How does he know the intent until he speaks with the officer?
Mens rea is usually established when you speak to the offender, you don't defend him and make excuses for him until you speak to him.
Oh I forgot, the government do just that.
There is no one more blatant at defending his officers then having to retract his statements than the blonde haired horse faced Texas chief McManus at SAPD.

  8. Sir you do excellent work you have great videos and your articulations are wonderful. Please keep up the good work you're doing an excellent service. activism always

  9. The Idiots shinning the Flash Light is Committing a BANE ACT VIOLATION! A Bane Act Violation is a Minimum of $25,000 dollar pay out by the Police (Taxpayers)! Stupid People Flushing Our Tax Dollars Down the Toilet! Maybe if the Police had to pay out of their own pockets they might act differently!
