The M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) is a light multiple rocket launcher developed in the late 1990s for the United States Army, mounted on a standard Army M1140 truck frame. The M142 HIMARS is the light, wheeled version of the M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS), the system utilizes the same pod as the M270 MLRS uses. The launcher is easily transportable by the C-130 Hercules.

Dear friends, today is my country, Taiwan 🇹🇼’s birthday, I want to say "Happy Birthday" to you, and I hope you all are happy today, thank you.
😊🇹🇼ðŸ¤ðŸŒðŸŽ‚😆🎉
THE ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT IS I REALLY WANTED TO SEE ROUNDS ON TARGET. MY FIRST VIEW OF MLRS WAS IN 1984 AT FORT SILL OKLAHOMA AT OFFICER BASIC FIELD ARTILLERY ROCKET AND MISSILE SCHOOL. IT WAS ONE OF THE GREAT PRIVILEGES AND MEMORABLE TIMES OF MY LIFE. WE DIDN'T GET TO SEE IMPACT OF ROUNDS THERE EITHER. I ALWAYS IMAGINED IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN A PLACE ANYONE WOULD WANT TO BE ANYWHERE NEAR WHEN THEY LANDED. WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MLRS AND THIS SYSTEM. THEY LOOK VERY SIMILAR.
It is Boring dude
what you shooting at there guys?
Oh~ that's it! So I probably know why we bought it in Taiwan. Thank you for your video.

Rockets in Western countries are generally not as powerful as rockets in Russia and China

One of the coolest weapons on a battlefield. My great uncle who fought for a sad little man with a funny mustache wrote in his diary of how demoralizing the rocket trucks were on the eastern front, they'd push in but then realized the rockets haven't arrived yet until it was to late. Many of the rockets sputtered and killed many of their own men charging forward but the sight of it hitting all around you would cause the disciplined front line to buckle and scatter
