  1. YouTube is a private company and is not obligated to monetize your content. I happen to like your videos, which is why I subscribe to you but I also support a company’s right to set their own rules. The only way we have to push back is with our loyalty to the company. As you’ve apparently done, the option is to take your content elsewhere. Sorry you are having to go through this but I have a hard time bashing YouTube. After all, they provide a free platform for creators to host their videos.

  2. You’re the product. They pay you for it. Don’t be surprised when they want a different product than what you provide. Free speech is hardly free.
