Canton, Ohio — On June 7, 2023, at about 10:07 p.m., Canton Police Officers responded to the disturbance in the 300 block of 25th Street SW, according to police. According to a 911 call, a neighbor called police to report a loud disturbance at a nearby home. As officers arrived outside the home, 41-year-old Jeffrey Neff take off running. Officer Jacob Dryden and his partner pursue Neff through a backyard, over a fence, and across an interstate entrance ramp.

During the foot pursuit, officials say one shot was fired from Neff at Officer Dryden, grazing him, but not seriously injuring him. The officer shot back, firing every bullet in his gun, as many as 17. Neff was struck multiple times. Neff’s wife, Domnita, heard the gunshots and began running behind police officers pursuing her husband. Seconds later, Dryden reloaded. He and his partner, Scott Wohlheter, walked toward Neff. EMS transported Neff to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital where he died from his injuries. The neighbor who phoned police later told a detective that Neff’s wife had asked her to call police, because Domnita Neff didn’t want to make the call herself.

  1. Jesus, why does he have a RWR on his sidearm? Look, he can’t even rack the slide with that monstrosity. Surprised he landed rounds.

  2. Always good to see these scumbags get dispatched. However, these cops really need to sort their cardio out and calm the fuck down.

  3. "Domnita Neff said her 130-pound husband had a chance to survive, if he hadn't been shot so many times. The funeral home later told her his body had five or six bullet holes."
Dumbitch! The officer's (blue) life is the ONLY one that mattered in that moment.

  4. Your country has serious problems the community and police and you all think your amendments should still be active in this day and age the police need to be retrained into not using lethal force and weapons being taken away from people no one needs to bare arms at all but you all think your all so civilized that’s some third world country type shit shame on you people

  5. Maybe the wife ought to take some blame herself instead of blaming everyone else. Late at night and they’re outside yelling, totally disturbing the peace and upsetting neighbors. And she wouldn’t call the police herself? Hmm…I’m thinking she may have known what would happen so in her mind she can deny responsibility. And the man was 41 years old and runs away? Oh, yeah…he had a firearm.

  6. I'd be pissed if my backup wasn't on my hip during that. Gotta be quicker. The cop that shot oozes military background.

  7. Just shows how the police are trigger happy. Fn pig will still get no disciplinary charges for Murdering someone who they vow to serve and protect. It's a sad affair 😭
